I had 3 years to paint full time until I got to the point where I hated it! I had become a numb factory, forcing myself no matter what to paint. I quit cold turkey. Now I design, teach kids, write, collage, draw, help my son with his blog and do whatever I am called to do when creative energy comes in. I am looking forward to the day when I will paint again but I will never 'just paint' again. I’m not a big Julia Cameron fan but I love this.
